Review in San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday, June 13, 2010:
With reasonably priced entrees and Family Specials, Bistro 211 is an affordable nice restaurant. The kid-and-dog- friendly spot offers Euro-influenced California cuisine in an unpretentious setting. Entrees start at $12.95.

Wonderful place to go to dinner if you are looking for a nice meal. My mom and I went there for a nice dinner. It was quiet, only one other table there. Nice atmosphere, the chef and staff are quite friendly and Helpful. Food is delicious.

Here is a super gem almost hidden in the Carmel Crossroads Shopping Center. I have friends that live in Carmel and we went out to eat here. Wow, what a surprise. The Chef’s credentials are incredible. This unpretentious and attractive establishment offers some of the best classical and Italian cuisine available anywhere in the Monterey Peninsula area. I was lucky to be there on a Thursday night as a cellist plays during dinner hours. Really nice, heads up all you romantics as this is a very place to take someone special to you. My food was simply scrumptious, from the appetizer to salad, to entree (lamb shank to die for) to dessert. So when you are in the area seek out and find this hidden gem. Pretty sure you will be glad you did.

Based solely on breakfast, as I have eaten here at least 10 times for breakfast, the Scandinavian Benedict is excellent. The different french toast options....excellent. Clever, fresh......not heavy.
